BED SORE
Heal of extraordinary bed sore in the loin - sacral zone , extended about 16" x 10" and 1ft deep and eight months pathologic aged, on a female subject 75 years old weighting ab. 220 lbs, treated by a previous portable version of the biologic soft laser Bioelettra 3001 ( v. 2001 ). 90 % healing of bed sore has been achieved by forty applications of one/two hour each in the period of forty five days.The source distance started from 10" up to 9 feet with a variable incidence angle due to the wound shape.
Probably this sore was originated by inadequacy of paramedic assistance during a quite long period of hospital bedding subsequent to hip fracture. The soft laser treatment begun february 16 - 1995 and was terminated april 9 - 1995 .
